Sometimes you may simply want to quickly try out some phrases. I often start to think that my pronunciation must be rubbish, and doing this usually reassures me.
You can simply rehearse some things you have already learned,
Or, you can do things like:
- Imagine you are meeting someone for the first time and quickly introduce yourself,
- Think of walking up to someone and ask for directions to somewhere,
- Ask for something in a shop or a café/restaurant.
This page lets you record up to 15 seconds of speech, and immediately play it back.
The sound frequency analysis is really just there to let you know that it is picking up what you say. Frequency information is far too complex and slow to be of much use in terms of helping with your pronunciation.
